Outpatient Services

On an outpatient basis, Wesley Rehabilitation Hospital offers physical, occupational and speech/language therapy for all of the same diagnoses listed under inpatient services, as well as for work-related injuries, arthritis, lymphedema, balance disorders, neck, arm and hand consults and back injuries, etc.


Among our outpatient programs and services are:


  • Bioness therapy - for paralyzed hands and drop foot - NEW
  • Wheelchair seating clinic - NEW
  • Gait therapy to help teach walking, balance and coordination skills using the AutoAmbulator machine which combines body weight-supported ambulation and robotics to simulate the normal walking process.
  • Spasticity clinic - NEW
  • Treatment for swallowing problems (using VitalStim electrical stimulation therapy)
  • Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)
  • Work conditioning
  • Biofeedback therapy
  • Women's Health Program (incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction treatment)
  • Lymphedema management
  • Driver testing (in the clinic and on the road assessment)
  • Voice training (Lee Silverman program for Parkinson's)
  • Vestibular rehab for dizzinesss
  • Electroencephalogram (EEG)
  • Aquatic therapy - arthritis, walking and stretching, community aerobics
  • Interactive Metronome - for rhythm, balance and coordination
